3D Structures composed of CNTs and Graphene

Combination of CNTs and graphene opens the path for new 3D architectures that utilize the unique physical properties of these two special materials. The strong interaction between different CNTs induces a variety of three dimensional structures. Among these structures one can find forests of CNTs, fins made of CNTs, microfluidic channels based on CNTs and graphene, and many more. Such structures enable us to study heat transport for heat dissipation, water filtration, diffusion at the nanoscale, super-capacitors, nano-fluidics, and many other interesting phenomena.
