DNA sensing

The electrostatic environment in the vicinity of CNTs and Graphene significantly  modulates  their electrical response.This property makes them ultra-sensitive sensors. We utilize this property in order to explore the exact sensing mechanism, its relation to water vapor, and to approach an alternative mechanism for sensing with higher degree of selectivity and sensitivity. Along this path, single molecule detection is a challenging task that we aim to achieve.
